Case Study:
Between a Soothing Spa and Modern Shine
Context
Located in Stittsville, this home belonging to a radiant couple of entrepreneurs had plenty going for it, but needed a refresh of its two main bathrooms.
The master bathroom was no longer meeting their needs: a rarely-used bathtub, a poorly optimized space and a style that no longer reflected their current vision.
Meanwhile, the children’s bathroom — shared by their kids including a stylish, expressive teenager — needed a bolder update, tailored to their personality and daily life.
Our objectives were clear:
•Create a master suite in a spa-style that is soft, soothing and warm;
•Provide a sparkling, more “bling-bling” bathroom for their teenager;
•Reuse as much of the existing elements as possible, for a result that is both ecological, coherent and cost-effective.
The Challenge
•Transform a master bathroom that was under-utilised into a highly functional spa-style space.
•Remove the bathtub to create an oversized shower while preserving the warmth of the space.
•the kids’ bathroom with a punchy style, without falling into visual excess.
•Harmonise both universes to maintain a coherent global identity in the home.
•Optimise the spaces and refresh the layout without rebuilding everything.
Intervention
For the master bathroom
•We removed the tub to free up the central space and created an exceptional shower: large, luminous, spa-inspired.
•Soft, natural and warm materials now structure the room, while the reworked layout makes every daily move smoother.
For the kids’ bathroom
The intervention aimed to modernise, energise and add a touch of glamour.
We retained basic elements where possible (existing cabinets, plumbing in place), then elevated the space with:
•expressive ceramics;
•a textured mirror;
•sparkling metal details;
•and a more artistic and vibrant arrangement.

•Re-use of the existing vanity, enhanced with a clean countertop and modern basin.
•Delicate, dimmable lighting, perfectly calibrated for a relaxing ambiance.

•Dark decorative tile inserts to create a punchy contrast.
•Modern rectangular basin, perfect for modernising without full replacement.

•Chrome and glass accents: bright, youthful, expressive.
•Green decorative touches to energise the space.
The Result
Two fully reimagined bathrooms, each faithful to its universe:
•A zen, warm and enveloping master suite designed to deliver a real moment of pause each day.
