A Vibrant Space for a Dynamic Young Family
Context
A young family full of energy wanted a décor in beige tones, but it quickly became obvious that this palette did not reflect their joyful, colorful and warm personality.
Rather than confine them to a neutrality that didn’t suit them, they chose to fully trust us and give us carte blanche to create a lively, functional space coherent with their lifestyle.
Main Challenges
•Create a bright, airy space despite multiple integrated functions: relaxation area, TV zone, workspace, storage and family area.
•Revamp their turquoise-blue buffet to become a strong piece harmonized with the new décor.
•Create a true “WOW” effect while respecting a thoughtful and realistic budget.
•Design a layout that does justice to their colorful energy without overloading the space.
Our Approach
A vibrant but balanced concept
We opted for natural materials, warm accents and strategic touches of color in order to keep the space luminous but with a strong identity.
The buffet, a significant piece for the family, was transformed into the colorful anchor around which the whole composition was built.
An architectural structure to give rhythm to the space
A textured wood ceiling and wall were created to:
•add depth and character
•frame the TV zone
•visually unify the workspace, living room and relaxation area.
These structural interventions reorganize the volumes without compartmentalizing, offering a space that breathes despite its multifunctionality.
Key Design Choices
An elegant and discreet integrated workspace
The bespoke workstation blends into the TV-wall composition thanks to:
•a long floating work surface,
•clean white shelving,
•a play of textures that balances modernity and warmth.
This zone becomes functional and inspiring—perfect for remote work and homework.
A comfortable and modular living room
•Furniture with clean lines, a soft palette and touches of vivid colours create a welcoming, family-friendly and stimulating space.
•A colourful rug animates the centre of the room, perfectly in harmony with the repurposed buffet.
